0 Deg in Bathurst at post. No rain today and never got higher than +5. A little correction from this morning. we had 30 mm of rain, but being so cold during the rainfall we had less of a melting affect. Spoke to Alyre at Serpentine and he said the same. Plenty of rain forecasted for Bathurst with up to 25 mm. Could play hell on start-up.
The #1 Groomer was transported to Rogers Lake last evening.

Saturday, Dec 14th, Club #1
We’re i the second round of the prize fight and we’re not doing so good; not as much snow as they said and more rain than forecasted. Yup they’re fighting dirty, but we’re not throwing in the towel. We’ll see what takes place at mid afternoon when it looks like we may get our @$$...

+ 1 and Raining Heavy in Bathurst at post. It is supposed to slow down dramatically in the next hour or so. My rain gauge says 20 mm.
Plus they're calling for +9 tomorrow. Could be the knock out blow.????

Friday, Dec 13th, Club #1 -17 at post
We’re living on the edge with this weekend’s weather. WN is calling for +2 in Bathurst with 15 MM of rain, then if you look towards Popple Depot they are looking at -1 with 20 cm of snow. Basically Bathurst is at sea level and Popple Depot is at 800 feet so there in lies...

6 PM: Well here we go again with the guessing game. This is just like a Prize Fight; us against the weather, but you know who is always the eventual winner. Snow starts out tonight with about 3 to 4 cm by morning then comes the rain starting around noon and we could be in the 20 mm range here, but if we can...

Just a footnote from Alyre at Serpentine as of 6.30 AM conversation with him. He had two sleds in from Rogers Lake. They reported extremely rough and hard. Was there enough snow to groom? They reported yes, but if we get what is coming on Saturday, that notion is out the window.
