Warning!! Head Pond

This report is strictly warnings. First, the Head Pond near Nepisiguit Lodge is only covered by less than 2 inches of ice as a result of the last big rain in December. NOT SAFE TO CROSS AT THIS TIME!!!!
The trails, although covered with snow, are still not rideable. We need at least another six inches to at least make them viable. If you decide to run, please be careful of the hidden unknowns beneath the snow.
I will be talking to Alyre at Serpentine to see if there is any improvement up that way, but as of this past weekend , there was only wheeler traffic.
