The forecast from last week to this week has changed at least 5 times from 30 cm to as low as 10 cm and now back to about 20 over Tuesday night and Wednesday of this week. We'll see. In any case it will be of the heavy wet variety with temps just below freezing.
The Nepisiguit trail system is in great shape and with the grooming done over Sunday and last night we are ready for this snow blowing through tonight and tomorrow then you'll see us back on the trails. The Big Blue was rescued yesterday and is being looked over. It looks like an electrical problem. Grooming last night had the #2 groom Trail 19 from the Atlantic Host to East Bathurst and the #1 groom from Rogers Lake to Nepisiguit lodge on trail 23 and back to Nine mile shelter plus the California loop to Red Pine shelter on 22 and 507, then returned on same to Nine mile shelter and back to Rogers Lake.
This week’s Wing Night (Thursday night from 5 to 8 PM) is cosponsored by two business’ from the Halifax area. Wolf Collision Ltd & MacKay Motor Sports. https://www.wolfcollision.com/ https://www.facebook.com/Mackay-Motorsport-108121720967222/
It appears that people have no respect for the environment and it is that 10% of the population. This is our new shelter at Nine Mile East. It is an embarrassment to think this is the snowmobile members that are doing this. If you carry it in, then carry it out. Notice the blue recyclable at the front.
