Still Could use More Snow

Trails done yesterday: Trail 23 from Nepisiguit lodge through Rogers Lake to Governor's. Trails 503 ti Simpsons Field, 506 Dry Gulch, 509 Shady Lane, 507 Austin Brook.

Both groomers will be out again today. Very good traffic over the weekend. Head pond is still not ready to cross.

I was speaking with Alyre at Serpentine last night. He said he had a good weekend, BUT there's not enough snow in Mt carlton park to do any grooming. This is unheard of. Sleds are making their way up from Governors/Popple Depot by Trail 23 as far as the crutch, which is 20 km (there isn't enough snow to continue on 23), then bear left on the Bathurst Rd 6 km until you hit Vixen. Continue from there to Trail 58 and into Serpentine. A lot of his traffic was from the Renous Highway into his place. I'm not sure how they are traveling from that point, as the Doaktown/Blackville club is still not grooming due to the lack of snow. Speaking of which, there's not much in the forecast. But this can change.
