Grooming update -
Trails above hwy 360 (keyanacon) are in good shape . Everything west of our lodge is freshly groomed.
Ron attempted grooming east on trail 19 towards Rough waters but there is just not enough snow to work with when you get into the red brook area.
He groomed to the end of the new trail from the hwy360 to the little beaver dam where the new trail meets the old trail . That section turned out good with just a few bare spots in the cuttings and it was rough along the 360 .
❄️ If we get that snow Thursday, we are hopeful that we will be able to groom down the 19east to bass river on Friday to get it ready for the weekend . Will keep you posted on that. ❄️
As far as the 19 west to the host we will see how much snow we get maybe try to groom it on Saturday but we need a good dump of snow to make that trail safe and “do-able”
For tonight, the groomers will stay parked.
On Wednesday evening, Jacob will take groomer #1 from Rogers lake to popple and back. (This trip will be to widen this trail as much as we can). Francois will take the #2 from Nepisiquit lodge to rogers lake and back.
As always, stay safe if you are hitting the trails this week!
