Groomers Are Out

Good morning again from Bathurst. It is a balmy -10° C here in Bathurst this morning. With the weather taming down to low teens yesterday Ron had both the $1 & #2 groomers on the move. Though there was no snow over this cold weekend, drifting was the big issue and in 50% of the cases we had to double back and triple groom most trails. Trails groomed yesterday were from East Bathurst and the Atlantic host through Nepisiguit, Trail 23 to Nine Mile shelter and into Rogers Lake. Most of these Trails seen severe drifting and therefore had to be triple groomed.

Ron hopes to have the parts today to repair the #3 groomer which is still on the trail. If we get the parts it will either be today or tomorrow before this groomer gets back on the trail.

It looks like the weather is going to be okay for the rest of the week, so I assuming that the traffic will be picking up after today. Everyone have a safe week on the trails.
