Ron was out testing the snow conditions on Tuesday between Rogers Lake and Red Pine Shelter, up the 507 and Trail 22. Conditions on snow depth are at a bare minimum of 6 to 8 inches, of which when compacted can barely make great conditions.. Folks, we need more snow ad the forecast is not great in that regard.

      Ron has the #2 in position at Rogers Lake and is ready to go.  There is one thing I can say about the area between there and Serpentine is that it can snow at anytime.  According to the forecast we are seeing snow this week. How much is the question.

It looks promising for some snow this week. There may be some sprinkles of snow in the Bathurst, but there is a good chance that you will see more in the higher elevations. This includes Rogers Lake all the way to Serpentine. Let us keep our fingers crossed for some snow.

With a little more snow on the ground it does add a bit of encouragement to our season, which was a disastrous turn around in our so so start-up on the 15th. We need at least 20 more cm out of Rogers Lake. Hopefully we can see this happening by the end of this week.
