    It is -22 degrees Celsius here in Bathurst this morning. With an extremely cold and dangerous day yesterday, it is understandable that there was virtually no traffic yesterday on the trails. It is for this reason that Ron has decided for the second night in the row that there would be no grooming....

   Update 8.30:  we have a groomer down on Trail 23 just down the line about three kilometers from the Nepisiguit  Lodge. It is Well marked. Plus there will be no grooming tonight due to dangerous temperatures.

       Good morning from Bathurst. It was a typical Monday with not too much traffic on the trails. Ron had the three groomers out last night and we groomed Trail 19 from Bass River to the Atlantic host in Bathurst, Trail 23 through Nepisiguit to Rogers Lake and Red Pine Shelter, Trail 22...

       It was the busiest weekend so far this season. Ron had one groomer out last night. #1 and from Rogers Lake to Popple Depot on piston alley, then over the 503 to trail 19 and back to Rogers Lake.  With 10 cm of snow overnight, Ron will have the three groomers out later today.

Big Day yesterday:  The boys got er done from Bathurst and Bass River all the way to Popple and the 503. They were still on the trail until early this morning with a double run between Nepisiguit and Rogers Lake. Great negative temperatures really help with -18 here this morning. They'll be out again...
