Yesterday's Weather did hurt us + 9AM Update

9 AM Update: Ron will have all groomers on the trails by 3 PM. #1 will be out of Rogers Lake towards Trail 22. #2 will be out of East Bathurst on trail 19 to Bass River, then Trail 19 to the Atlantic Host. #3 Big Blue will be out of Nepisiguit on trail 23 towards Rogers Lake. Will update later today.

Currently -7 and windy here in Bathurst. We escaped a minor bullet here with the weather in Bathurst. What was supposed to be 15 to 20 mm of rain, we barely got 5 mm followed by freezing rain and then into snow overnight. I'm sure the trails took a little beating yesterday, but that is beyond our control as we cannot groom when it's raining. I'm sure Ron is gearing up with the grooming crew to have our groomers on the trails soon. We have a very good base and there is still lots of snow in Bathurst and surrounding areas. So, if you are thinking of coming up from either from Prince Edward Island or Nova Scotia you should not encounter any problems with the trails, except that they could be a little bumpy to begin with. Once the groomers get back on the trails we should be back to normal by at least Tuesday. Have a good day and ride safe. I will try to update later if the groomers do go out.
