Last night was a special night in the Lodge’s history. We commemorated the work of Wilbur Elhatton as the key factor of establishing the now famous “Wednesday Night Suppers”. 23 years ago he suggested that we should garner sponsors to put on a supper at the lodge. Since that year of conception with about five sponsors it has been tweaked and grown as to what it is today. We honored Wilbur by presenting a plaque to his son Pat which will be placed on our recognition wall at the Lodge. These Suppers have become a key factor of fund raising for the Club and it also has become a key community social event. The supper was of course a sellout with many of his friends in attendance. Thank you Wibur as we know you were looking down at us with your usual big smile.
