Friday, Aug 27th, 2021, Club #1 Welcome back to the blog. Although it appears that we have not been active through this past spring and summer, on the contrary, we are and will be very active. We already had executive meetings discussing future of the club and all is well. Ron Scott has been quite active with the trail maintenance as well other members working on different aspects of the clubs business.
Ron has been overseeing a major improvement in Trail 19 at and in around the trail near the Key Anacon Rd ie. Highway 360. It was supposed to have been completed last year, but had to be delayed to this year due to a lot of red tape and restrictions.
Tyler Mullin (Shelter Director) is looking for help in upgrading our “outhouses” at our three shelters. Please contact Tyler (252-8421) with your assistance in either an upgrade or rebuild of these facilities. P.S. We will need the use of a back-hoe as well for these upgrades.
We are also in the process of upgrading our gas shed facility at our Nepisiguit Lodge. Work has already begun with the expansion of the pad. Our good member, Kevin Veinotte is our job foreman and has Gary Scothorn and myself as helpers. We are getting assistance from the Eddy Group and Chaleur Forest Products for building materials.
There are many other things taking place and I will keep you updated on the above and other projects as we move forward in the coming weeks and months.
