We had a decent dump of snow in the highlands surrounding Bathurst. Although some of the snow was on the wet side it would contribute to a solid base once it freezes up and packed down. It looks like we’ll have in the vicinity of 20 to 25 cm from Nepisiguit to Serpentine. I might add that the word high ground applies to elevations of over 100 feet so if you are looking to places like Nepisiguit, there is a good chance to see those same snowfall numbers in the north. There were people out sled testing the trails yesterday and there will be people out today for sure. The weather temps are quite favorable going forward, so the likely hood of the snow staying is good.
