Update 2.30 PM + Lottery Draw Tonight Atlantic Host + Grooming

Update 2.30PM: We got the #1 groomer towed to Rogers Lake with the #2 unit. #2 is now on the trails until sometime tomorrow until that big snow comes. We'll do our best to get things in shape from the 430 to Popple Depot Trail 23 and also the 22 to the 301.

Tickets for our 50/50 lottery is still on with the draw to be held tonight, the 22nd at the Atlantic Host. Time 7 PM. You can still purchase your ticket on line by clicking the lottery button at the top of the page, but hurry as the option of buying online will cease at noon today. You can physically pick up a ticket between 5.30 and 6.30 PM at the Atlantic Host this evening. In the event that if all tickets are not sold, all prizes will be pro rated on a 50/50 basis, which will likely be the case this year.

Grooming: It was kind of a strange day here yesterday in the Bathurst area with sort of real twist in snow conditions 25 Km South West of the city. Yes we woke up to snow falling, but what little that fell was gone by noon, where from the Nepisiguit Falls to Rogers Lake we had up to 12 inches of snow. Ron was out yesterday with the groomer at Rogers Lake and up as far as the Trail 22 where it gave him a problem and had to abandon it. He wants to thank two lads from PEI who rescued him back to Rogers Lake. This morning he will be floating the #2 unit from Bathurst to Rogers Lake, then out to tow the other groomer back to Rogers. The #1 will then take over grooming and run until we see what Saturday will bring in the form of more snow. It clearly has become a weird season. Bear with us and we’ll get it done.
