The trails are remaining in great shape in the Nepisiguit system. The temperatures this week are remaining a little closer to 0° C during the daytime and in the single digits during the night. Most days this week we'll be seeing a little bit of snow flurry. We are not through winter yet with Saint Patrick's Day just around the corner, which he usually delivers a little bit of snow. My advice is to get out and enjoy the trails while we still have them.
Last nights grooming: The #2 went from the Atlantic Host in Bathurst on Trail 19 East to Bass River then back to the shop in East Bathurst. The #1 went from Rogers Lake over to Nine Mile Shelter then back and up on Piston Alley (Trail23 west) to Governor’s, 506 into Dry Gultch Cluster then 503 to Simpson Fields on Trail 19 then back to Rogers Lake. A good nights grooming.
We will be putting a push on for our remaining 50/50 lottery tickets. It has been a bit slow on sales so for those who have not purchased theirs, you have about 3 weeks remaining to do so. Remember that all funds raised go right back into the trail grooming, which we do a lot of. We have gone through some major expenses in the last three years with the purchasing of two groomers, So if you havn't purchased a ticket yet, it is easy to do so by clicking the "Lottery" logo at the top of the page or in person at our Nepisiguit Sports Lodge. Check out the prize structure on our ticket below.
