Thursday, Dec 12th, Club #1
Just a footnote from Alyre at Serpentine as of 6.30 AM conversation with him. He had two sleds in from Rogers Lake. They reported extremely rough and hard. Was there enough snow to groom? They reported yes, but if we get what is coming on Saturday, that notion is out the window.
-14 at post which is a bit on the positive side when it comes to freezing. It was as low as -18, but it is not too encouraging looking at the weekend weather as they are calling for more rain and very positive temps. Ron is going to check over parts of the trail system above Rogers Lake on Friday. We know that there is snow in places but it won't take much bad weather to make it much worse than it is now.
There are only two business days left for early registration. For our friends in PEI and Nova Scotia they should be available for easy pick up at these locations in Winslow, PEI at Toymaster and in Dartmouth, NS at Full Throttle Power Sports as well as West Pubnico a the Petro Canada Service Center. The trail permits are also available for out of province members at SNB and also through our mail in application form on our web site at http://www.bathursttrails.com/en/documents step #2 on “Permit Information”. If you have a problem with the above you can call Don at 548-8241
