The Rain we had last week has played a role on the trail just west of the lodge. It flooded a short section of trail, which happens when we get the amount of rain that we did last week. We'll see what happens after a trail check today. The weather forecast also changed for this week with snow late tomorrow and into the night turning soft on Wednesday morning.
With the temperatures back down below freezing and not much snow in the forecast oh, this could be a fantastic week on the trails. With our recent grooming and the trails being flat and hard it could be possibly the best that we will see all winter. We are seeing increased traffic from outside the province and with the recent thaw here in lower New Brunswick oh, we could also see more sleds from there as well.
We are coming off a very busy weekend in the Bathurst/Chaleur region and Ron has all three groomers in Tip-Top shape. They will be on the trails. Last night we had the #1 & #2 groomers out and all trails from the Atlantic Host and East Bathurst to Rogers Lake were groomed.
