There is Still Good Snow Cover

One would think that after 80 mm of rain since Wednesday morning that there would not be much snow left, but with temperatures hovering near the minus two about +3 we only lost about 50% of the nearly 24 inches of that previous storm we had a week ago. And todaywe could be getting up to 3 cm in the high ground, so all is no lost. The only problem is that what rain fell this week will be lingering under the snow and on the trail, so that can then present a problem. We'll have to give it a couple of more days to give a proper assessment on trail conditions as they're still is a lot of water that has to make its way to the streams and waterways throughout these system.
