The Trails Today + Update #1

Update #1: See second paragraph: #1 did what the #2 was supposed to do last night: groomed 23 to Red Pine Shelter up 507, 22 South to Nine Mile Shelter, then down Nine Mile East Rd (trail 23) to highway 430. From there it was to back tracked to Rogers Lake. This should be done by 8 PM.

With no rain since Saturday, the water has surely drained off to some great degree, and I'm sure some of those water crossings shown on Sunday have decreased to a passable condition. Plus we had a few days of sub zero weather.

Last night the #2 groomed 23 to Red Pine Shelter and had to turn back due to a steering problem. It was to do the 507, 22 South to Nine Mile Shelter, then down Nine Mile East Rd (trail 23) to highway 430. From there it was to back tracked to Rogers Lake.

Tomorrow morning, Ron and some volunteers along with the #1 groomer are going to open up the 503 from Popple Depot to Simpson Fields on Trail 19. If you are willing to help meet anywhere on 503 and start cutting & throwing.
