The Soft Weather has Returned

It is hovering around 0° here in Bathurst with light rain falling at post. It looks like the 70 mm forecasted earlier is back on again between now and Saturday.

As far as grooming is concerned we've had the number two units doing 24/7 on the trails between the Nepisiguit Falls and Popple Depot and of course over on trail 22 to the 301. We got the number one up and running late yesterday afternoon and Ron took it down to Bass River and was on the way back up to the 23/19 intersection near highway360. He ran into some very wet spots and decided to turn and go back to the shop. There has been some very good traffic on the trails in these past 2 days and I'm thinking people are getting out for their last runs of the season. We'll see what happens Beyond Saturday with the trail system and how much damage this soft weather will do.

A little word on safety please treat every Trail with the prospect that there could be hazards beneath this snow. In most cases the Frost has left the ground and you never know where you may hit a soft spot. Sled safe.
