The John Labonville Memorial

The Nepisiguit Sports Lodge Snowmobile Club are very proud to have the John Labonville Memorial Gate installed at the entrance to our Lodge. Through the efforts of Fred Arseneau the gate was installed back in November and the final opening was done Dec 26 with the installation of the memorial plaque John’s wife, Darlene and family were present for the opening.

John was one of the co-founding members of the club and was always an untiring supporter to the club through all of his years. He had a great vision of the future of the club and indeed the future of snowmobiling as we now know it in the province of New Brnswick. He was past president of the club and when the NBFSC was founded they made him their first President of the NBFSC because of his vision and wisdom of snowmobiling and what it could do for the Province.
