Thursday Club #1
Good morning from Bathurst. This past week has seen some awesome weather for snowmobiling with daytime temps hovering between 0 and -3. The only problem is that we are also seeing a small degree of melting taking place. Going forward and looking at the 14 day forecast does not show much change, however; the trails are holding up with very good conditions in the higher elevations. So far January is more like March/April type weather. Let’s hope that we can see a change in the next few weeks.
On another note we are happy to see some areas in New Brunswick going back into the orange phase of Covid. This has been a very stressful year on all Canadians and we’re hoping that everyone affected comes out of this doing well. We like everyone else are dealing with the situation from day to day and are doing our best to cope with the situation. I want to commend our staff at Nepisiguit Lodge, three of whom are new to the team, for coping with the regulations. We are striving to be self sufficient in these times and it is proving to be very difficult. Wishing all of you who tune in to this trail report, all the best and above all stay safe in your community and stay safe on the trails. Having an accident in these times or any other time is not a good thing. Please enjoy the trails and keep it out of the pickies.
With just under three weeks we are hoping that we can sell the remainder of just under 250 tickets of our lottery. If you haven't purchased a ticket yet you can do so by clicking at the top of this page or here at www.lottery.bathursttrails.com
