After the little meltdown on the weekend it looks like temperatures will be more favorable going forward. It has been a rough startup, especially from the trails out of the lodge. All trails West of Rogers Lake have been decent with enough snow to groom.
Yesterday the #1 groomed 23 out to Nine Mile West, trail 509 (Shady Lane), Doucet Cluster, down to Nine Mile Shelter, Nine Mile Cluster, north on trail 22 and into trail 508 (40 Cluster) and back to Rogers Lake. When it returned last night, Mickey took it out to Trail 22 to the 22/301 intersection and back to Rogers Lake. The #2 groomed from Rogers Lake on trail 23 to Popple Depot and back.
I came through the Road to Resources yesterday. The only significant snow was between the Mt Carleton exit and South Tetagouche. Does anyone know if the Chaleur Club has groomed the 22 South from Trail 19 as well as the 301 from the Sugar Shack down to the 22/301 intersection? From what I seen yesterday, it doesn't seem so. Plus with the NBFSC trail map not working it is hard to tell what trails are groomed. Not good for anyone trying to make plans.
