Super Bowl Sunday Sunday, Club #1 Go Bengals
We’ve had three days of + temps and Spring like riding. With over three to four feet of snow on the ground and not much body to it we have seen the snow levels off trail drop by over a foot and with a little mist falling over yesterday and well into the evening we didn’t have much chance to groom until late last night. The #1 was out from Rogers Lake to Red Pine Shelter up the 507 and Trail 22 to the 33/301 intersection and is currently on 22 at post. The #3 Big Blue is out of Nepisiguit to Rogers Lake on Trail 23 and should be back by noon. The #2 just left the shop in East Bathurst and is down to Bass River and will be on 19 most of the day to Nepisiguit. The freeze is on until at least Thursday so the trails will become rock hard over today until then. I’m not sure what the grooming schedule is right now, but we’ll have the groomers out for sure. As for me I’m taking the day off from my report for Super Bowl Sunday.
At this time I would like to thank our co-managers of the Nepisiguit Lodge, Brian & Joanne Dempsey. With the depletion of our staff over the last year they have carried on the tradition of excellent service. Their idea of “Wing Night” has turned into a huge success and it is through their efforts they have procured a “Wing Night” sponsor until the end of March.
In the meantime we have our lottery tickets for sale and if you haven't purchased one we have them at our lodge and On Line plus see previous post for other vendors.
