Update 5 PM:
Storm is picking up at Post and it looks like it will continue until 4 AM
Here is the snowfall for Bathurst so far and it is decent groomable snow.

-8 at post with no significant snow yet here in Bathurst with about 2 to 3 cm down so far; as the brunt of the storm will peak this afternoon with a forecast of up to 45 cm overall, then tapering to nothing by very early Sat morning at around 4 AM. The wind could be a significant factor here as they are out of the North East at about 35 Km/Hr, which could be a lot worse. The only grooming done yesterday was Ron’s decision to run the #1 from Rogers Lake to Nepisiguit for better accessibility of getting to that groomer when the storm clears up.

Just a word of caution out there is that don’t ride alone and let your loved ones know where you’re going and use the lodges when you can. I will report this afternoon around supper time.
