Lets begin a new week with 1 little word on safety as we’ve had a flurry of known accidents. As We all know, 80 % of our trails are in the deep woods and you had better keep this in mind, because if you get into any trouble in these areas, there is no easy access for rescue or even communication. There should be no excuse to jeopardise yourself or the other sledder by driving stupid. Consider having an accident in these deep woods at -15 degree temperatures with no access for help; this is a really serious thing to consider, bearing in mind that even a small accident could be life threatening. Slow down and enjoy the scenery and remember, you have people back home that want to see you at the end of the day. You'll see people in acess of 100MPH and when you consider the slightest of unknowns, then at this speed you have little chance of not getting into a minor or major accident and when you consider the above, it can become perilous.
Back to the trail grooming, we had both groomers out for small runs last night to start a new week of gromming. They will be out again tonight, Have a good and safe week on the trails
