Some Sledders Are Out

We have four more days to take advantage of the “Early Bird” trail permit. It is fast approaching the first legit day of the snowmobile season and we don’t have a lot of snow so far, but what we have down in some areas is a lot of good base plus the fact that the cold weather is helping freeze up a lot of the wet areas I have been in close contact with Serpentine and Alyre has sledders in touring around the Christmas Mountains. Conditions are fair to excellent. They have been around a lot of trails and they reported good going, Serpentine down to Governors and as far as Rogers Lake via Trail 58, Birch Lake Road. There is a section that is bare on Trail 23. Things could improve with the wet snow on Saturday.
