Monday, Nov 30th, Club #1
There isn’t much sign of any snow this week with a lot of rain in the immediate forecast. The ground is barely frozen and this week will not help matters. We had well mover a foot of snow at this time last year. The groomers are all ready and trail signage is near completion.
Shelters are ready with wood and the None Mile Shelter situation is ready with a new stove and pipe fittings. ((By NBFSC directions the shelters will remain closed)). We want to thank all the volunteers to help make this happen. The Nepisiguit Lodge will be open this year with food beverage and gas.
Due to the Coved situation all fund raising by the club will cease. These fundraiser events are absolutely necessary to subsidize our grooming costs. To replace these events we have decided that the only way that we can replace these fund raisers is by having a lottery. Here are some details on the lottery: We are planning on selling 1000 tickets at $100 per ticket and we feel that with over 1400 member this would not be a hard sell plus the fact that we will be selling to the local public as we have a very loyal base here in the vicinity of Bathurst. Thank you in advance for your support in purchasing these tickets and a big thank you to those who have already purchased. You can purchase them in from these sellers or on line by clicking here: https://www.lottery.bathursttrails.com/
Kerr's Chainsaw Ltd. Bradley Kerr. They have 9 of our tickets given away free on a designated purchase over a 3 week period.
