We are two full days into grooming after the storm of this past Sunday/Monday. Both the Nepisiguit and Chaleur clubs have groomed most of there trails. I'm assuming they're not great in some places, but at least they're packed. The snow was of the wet variety due to some intermittent rain and mild temperatures yesterday.
Both clubs have groomed into the Atlantic Host in Bathurst, therefore completing loops in their systems. Go to the NBFSC trail map to look at your options. I'm not sure how much more grooming that wiĺl be done by either club given the forecasted mild weather. The temperatures today will be approaching +5° C dropping to -3 tonight. The temperatures are generally 2° lower in the high ground such as Popple Depot. We'll see.
Trails will be soft. Watch out for sink holes. Don't forget about the Mussels fest at Rogers Lake this Saturday. Features mussels wings and rings.
Our 50/50 lottery is still on with the draw on the 22nd. You can purchase your ticket on line by clicking the lottery button at the top of the page or by emailing us where we can arrange a purchase for you. https://www.lottery.bathursttrails.com/
