With Monday rolling around and this being a holiday week for a lot of people plus more grooming in the north through this week, it should show signs of more traffic. I spoke with Alyre at Serpentine Lodge and he is going to be busy this week. He also reported that there are up to 3 ft drifts in some trails,(not surprising with all the wind we had) We will have our groomers out doing some of the trails that we did not get on Thursday plus regrooming some that were already done. I’m sure most clubs in the snowed areas will be doing the same. Yesterday (Sunday) we groomed up from Rogers Lake to Governors, opened up Trail 503 over to Trail 19. From there, back down Piston Alley to Red Pine Shelter, up the 507, 22, 508 (40 Camp Cluster), 22 to Nine Mile Shelter, then 23 to Nepisiguit Lodge at 3.30 AM this morning. Today we`ll groom to East Bathurst. Please note that I previously posted that it was good to go toMoose Valley vis 17 out of Kedgwick. That is not correct as my good friend Andy told me there is a section of trail between Kedgwick and the Moose Valley Loops that is plowed up and will be like that for some time.
