Sunday Club #1
Yes January is passing us by with not the huge amounts of snow that we usually see, but we could see some by Tuesday of this week. Conditions remain about the same from Doable to Excellent, but groomers are still out maintaining the trails in the North. See map below.
Now that the Christmas Mountain trail system is finally up and running a lot of sledders are making their way around it and from what I’m hearing is positive. Most have just barely touched a few trails so far. Most of these new trails were basically for the off trail riders. Some of these trails were on old established roads, Dancer being the River And Kagout roads, North Pole being the Bathurst Rd, Long Lake Rds and North Pole Rd. Vixen was the Kagout South and Birch Lake Rd. Cupid and Comet are relatively new Logging roads and I might add very scenic. Candy Cane is a long established wood road. I added a map below for your viewing.
