This will be the last day for grooming as the minus temperatures at night have virtually vanished. Over the past few days we touched all major trails in our system From Bathurst to Popple Depot, so they will be relatively good through the rest of the season Last night Ron picked up Jacob and Roger at the shop at 7 PM and dropped them off at Nepisiguit and Rogers Lake. From those positions, the #1 from Rogers Lake and the #2 from Nepisiguit groomed to our shop in East Bathurst for summer storage.
Ron's message: I would like to say thanks for the hard work over the winter. I know it is not a easy job out there all night long. We had a lot of positive comments about our trail system this past winter . Thanks and enjoy your summer.
At this time I would like to thank Ron Scott and his crew for another great season of grooming. The Crew: Roger, Francois, Jacob, Bryan, Jack, Mickey and Steven plus Ron himself all deserve a BIG THANK YOU.
For myself, it was another great season keeping all you sledders out there informed on the trails and conditions. This will not be my last report as there is still good riding out there, but I will ask those who are still sledding to chime in on conditions as you see them. I can then relay to all followers of this blog. All trails are still in passable to good to great condition. Passable means a few bare spots, water cuts, etc.
