All three groomers were out last night. The #1 was out of Roger's Lake to Nine mile shelter, North on 22 to the 22/507 intersection then back to Rogers Lake. It did the 508 cluster, the Nine Mile cluster on the way back. The #2 groomed from the Atlantic Host east on trail 19 to Bass River then back to the shop in East Bathurst. The #3 Big Blue covered trail 23 from highway 360 (Key Anacon road) to Nine Mile shelter then back to Nepisiguit.
The weather is still remaining on the cool side so that bides well with the trails setting up, especially when grooming overnight. Going forward February also shows good grooming weather. We live in quite an awesome location for any sport. Given that our fortes is snowmobiling, Bathurst is right in the center of some great trails or even a start off point to longer reaches of the trail system, which brings you to Campbellton, Edmunston , Miramichi, St Quentin, Acadian Peninsula.. It is also a great area to ride with multiple shelters and lodges where you can eat. Our People from Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island sure do appreciate our system and our club has many members from these provinces. This past year "Confidence in the City of Bathurst’s economic standing and growth development strategies are gaining increased attention as the City has ranked #4 in RATESDOTCA’s “Top 10 Places to Call Home in 2021” Report.
