Grooming Continues

The #2 groomer is running 24/7 . The #1 was serviced plus had the saw blade brush cutting unit mounted and was on the trail 19 last night to Nepisiguit lodge from East Bathurst. It continued to the highway 430 (Nine Mile East Rd) on trail 23 and turned and headed back to Bathurst on Trail 19 West. With a change in operators, it was heading back to Nepisiguit at 4am this morning. The #2, groomer did the 22 and the California loop. It will run theTrail 23 to Popple Depot today.

With this latest snow it has really enhanced the grooming situation here in the North. Trail 19 from Caraquet has been groomed as well as Trail 23 to Tracadie. Mind you, we could all use more snow to get the conditions up to a 10/10 basis, but for what we have, there is decent sledding to be had. Trail 19 from St Quentin to Mt Carleton park seen its first grooming.

Sleds are now crossing the head pond at Nepisiguit and with Trail 52 being groomed trails are gradually coming together. At this time I'm urging all sledders to ride safe and be carefulf riding off trail as there are a lot of hazzards beneath that white gold.
