-8 This morning in Bathurst. Well we received some very good grooming snow over Friday with a lot of moisture in it. Temperatures got into the low + and this helped pack the snow before all three groomers hit the trails last night when the temperatures cooled off. Everything went in our favor over this last precip so going forward the trails will be very decent this week as the groomers will be out most nights. We’ll have all trails touched from The Atlantic Host and Bass River to Nepisiguit Lodge (19 & 23), plus from Nepisiguit to Red Pine Shelter, the California Loop, 507, trail 22 to the 22/301 intersection.
Looking at the date of April 15 we are only one months away from the end of the season so we are expecting all sledders to make the best of the remaining weeks to put safety ahead of everything else. Don't ruin a perfect season for yourself and family. There was good traffic on the trails yesterday and that should continue today.
