Friday Club #1 -6 at post
Good morning from Bathurst. Most groomers out around the province. All local clubs have been out since early yesterday morning. Our #1 & 2 groomers have been running 24-7 since then. We should be completed grooming our major trails by this afternoon, then we'll concentrate on local and redoing some trail that have already been groomed. Once these trails are set up we should be in for some decent sledding. It is shaping up to be a pretty good weekend. Currently we have groomed all trails from Bathurst and Bass River to Popple Depot plus the506, 508 and 507 Clusters.
All trails from the Peninsula should be groomed by today. MVSC has been up to the headpond on Trail 53 and yes it is safe to cross.. Th Park Groomers are out in the Christmas mountain area.
We are in the final 9 days of our Lottery with under 170 out of a 1000 tickets to sell in our 50/50 lottery to support our grooming this year. This lottery is in lieu of the lack of fund raising due to Coved 19. We have 36 cash prizes with the first prize being $25,000. Normally we raise about $45,000 with our fund raisers so with two weeks left you can easily purchase your ticket ON-LINE at www.lottery.bathursttrails.com or locally at our Nepisiguit Lodge or these locations: Kerr's Chainsaw Ltd. Bradley Kerr City Center. Claude Doucet West End Sports. Guy Hache, Brunswick Powersports. 3-Step Contracting. Marc Poirier, Denise Lebreton Pokemouche 727-8398 Please note that if for some reason we can't sell our remaining tickets by Feb 14, we did get permission from the Lottery Commission for a month extension.
