Good Sled Traffic out of Rogers Lake Yesterday.

We have a bit of snow on the ground this morning. It should continue into this evening. How much at the end of the day, well I guess we’ll wait and see. There was a lot of people sledding out of Rogers Lake yesterday. I’m not sure what the conditions were, but it couldn’t have been that bad. Every centimeter of snow counts at this point.
Serpentine will have the telephone tower put up on the 17th of Dec. Their restaurant will be closed for food, but open for beverage, fuel and your own sandwich. A seating time limit will be in order as well. His rooms will also be for use. Please conform with their wishes as they are going through a rough time. This is of course temporary. I’m also hearing that Governor’s won’t be serving food this year as well, but gas and lodging will be the norm. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
We will have the groomers out early on the 15th as I’m hearing the Park groomers will be running as well. There are some big changes in the grooming area this year around the Christmas Mountain venture. Our club will not be grooming from Governors to Serpentine as the Park groomers will be doing that as well as the 503. I will try and get a map of the area of the Christmas Mountains.
