Forecast Looks a Little Promising

Good morning from Bathurst on this beautiful Christmas day with temps going into the +5 area this afternoon7. I'm hoping everyone had a great Christmas and now we can all start doing a snow dance.

I was looking at the long range forecast and the weather looks promising over the next 10 days or more. We could be in for up to 30 cm of snow over this stretch. Let's hope that we do not have any meltdowns coming. If we get this amount I'm sure Ron will have the groomers in place, especially in the Rogers Lake area going west to Popple Depot. Having said this, let us hope that this weather forecast holds true.

There has been a decent freeze for the base, plus there is currently about a six inch ice buildup on the head pond near Nepisiguit Falls. The lodge remains closed until we see snowmobile traffic.
