Closures.

We’re putting notice out that the trails from Bathurst west and east are no closed to any kind of normal sledding. Also with no traffic coming north and from the east to Nepisiguit, we’ll be officially closing the lodge for the season. We’ll be open the next couple of days just for cleaning purposes. We depend on snowmobile traffic to make the business viable, and when that comes to a grinding halt, we have no choice to close down operations.

Except for hard core crossing of the beaver dam just above the lodge, the trails remain decent. We advise anybody wanting to sled to either drop off at Nine Mile East or at Rogers Lake and it would be advisable to avoid Trail 23 in the neighborhood of Nine Mile West before Rogers Lake going west.
