Wednesday Club #1
Grooming last night saw the #1 groomer out of Rogers Lake, to Red Pine Shelter up the 507 and 22 out to the 301/22 intersection, back to Rogers Lake and up to Nine Mile Shelter and back to Nine Mile Shelter. We ran 4 passes with the groomer between Rogers Lake and Red Pine. The #3 ran from the Shop in East Bathurst and up to Nine Mile Shelter and back to the Nepisiguit Lodge. Below is the weather forecast for the next two weeks. This could change as we move forward, but it gives you an idea where we are headed.
Just a little message again for those brappers: Last week when we had those few days of +9 degree days of melting, the trails got soft, but it did not stop with the brappers tearing up the trails, especially when gunning from a stop position. This makes a hole in the trail besides making a mogul. My God, can we just cool it when it comes to this practice as there are more than yourselves that are using these trails, besides the fact of the expense of grooming these unwanted conditions out of the trail. Brappers, this is a selfish act and we plead with you to curtail this action. Please & Thank you.
